I keep on getting

Unknown Controller typeThings i have tried:
-Data, Command, Attention and Clock into PWM
-Data, Command, Attention and Clock into analog in
-Data, Command, Attention and Clock into PWM and Data into analog in
-Pulling up Data wire with 10k resistor to 3.3V
-Pulling up Data wire with 10k resistor to 5V
-Running controller off 3.3V
-Running controller off 5V
The controller is getting power because analog LED is on
Any help on my problem would be much appreciated.

Am i supposed to Acknoledge (9-Green) connected to the arduino?

No.
And did you try the rest of the troubleshooting steps, like slowing down the clock?

February 8, 2013 at 1:33 am #2091AnonymousInactiveNot yet, i am trying a different controller now and still having the same problems, would you mind confirming that clock goes to pwm 13, command goes to pwm 11, attention goes to pwm 10 and data goes to 12 analog in by default

The Controller is a Sony Ps2 dualshock2 controller

February 13, 2013 at 4:31 pm #2108BillMemberMake sure you are trying all the steps in the troubleshooting guide. It could be a pull-up problem.
